Directions to La Vie En Rose Apartments from Amsterdam Central Station
How to find our beautiful apartment in Amsterdam Center?
Outside Central Station take the cable car (tram) number 1,2,5,13 or 17.
Take the first stop (Kolk) and you will see on your right hand side the café De Spaanse Ruiter at Nieuwezijds voorburgwal 90-A.
The door next to the café on the main street is at 90 B and this is where your apartment is located and thus where you will be staying.
In case you prefer to walk from Central Station to La Vie En Rose Apartments, it is the second main street on your right hand side (first is Damrak, second is our street: Nieuwezijds voorburgwal).
Just follow the curved road and follow the rail from the cable car until you see café De Spaanse Ruiter on your right hand side.
The apartment entrance is the green door, next to the café, it has a large '90 B" on it.
Just ring the door bell, wave into the camera (smile) at the door and we will let you in and show you around in your apartment.
Walking distance from Central Station will take you about 5 minutes.
Half a minute walk away from Dam Square and Royal Palace.
Directions to drive to our apartments by car:
- Coming to Amsterdam by car from any direction you can take the ring road A10 around Amsterdam.
- There you take exit S114 'Zeeburg/IJburg'.
- Follow the signs for Centrum.
- You will go through a long tunnel.
- As you come out of the tunnel, take a right at the traffic lights.
- Now drive 2.8 kilometers with the railroads on your left hand side (Piet Heinkade).
- As you have passed the central station, take the 1st traffic light a very sharp left (Droogbak) and you pass under through the railroads.
- You have water on your left hand side.
- At the next traffic lights go left (Prins Hendrikkade) and then at the 2nd traffic lights go right (Martelaars gracht) then after 100 meters the road splits in a Y take the left leg: Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal.
- After 200 meters you see the entrance for the underground Kolk parking.
More parking options:
Because our apartments are right in the center of Amsterdam, parking close to us is expensive
(5,- euro/hour) and to find a parking spot is not easy.
There is a underground parking one minute away from our bed & breakfast called
Parking De Kolk. This will cost you about 40 - 50 euro per 24 hours.
Cheaper parking option: the Park&Ride (P+R). You will pay 6 euro per day and including two way public transportation for up to 5 persons into the city center.
Park&Ride Zeeburg is at the Ring A10 exit S114.
